SSS Debate

Debate is a parliamentary debate competition for Student Support Services students.  The competition consists of a debate between two teams that will follow parliamentary debate rules and regulations.  The amount of teams in the competition determines the manner in which a winner is decided.

For more information about Debate, please see the Debate Rules below.  Questions are based on current world, regional and state events.

To register a team for Debate, please complete the online registration form below.  If you have any questions or need to amend the names of students competing please contact KAEOPP Student Initiatives Co-Chair & Debate Coordinator  Chris George

***The documents posted below are old rules from SAEOPP Regional Debate Competitions, and are provided as a reference for current teams.  KY Debate follows all rules listed in these documents, but we do NOT award a cash prize for winning teams at the state level.  Regional winners have in the past won cash prizes.  Please consult the SAEOPP Student Initiatives chair(s) for current information on prizes at the regional level.***
